1. What makes Honeyskin different?

2. How do you formulate your award-winning products?

At Honeyskin, all of our products are small-batch crafted within our registered laboratory. From there, the manufacturing and testing processes are second to none. Each Honeyskin product has a batch number and expiration date for you to reference. We are incredibly proud to be setting the bar for safety and efficacy in the personal care industry.

 

3. Are your ingredients organic?

Most of the ingredients we use are organic, medical-grade ingredients. There are only a few ingredients that are not organic, simply because they do not exist in organic form but are essential to maintain the stability of our products.  We believe optimal balance is achieved when both nature and science work in harmony. 

We only use safe, healthy, and high-quality ingredients while considering many factors when choosing them. We pride ourselves on creating truly high-quality skin and hair care products infused with some of the finest and most powerful ingredients nature has to offer. 

 

4. What are the key ingredients within your products?

We searched the globe and discovered some of the best and most potent natural and organic ingredients. All Honeyskin products contain raw, pure, and organic Manuka Honey sourced in New Zealand. Other natural ingredients include Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Australian Cehami, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Plumeria Extract, Orange Oil, Blue Green Algae, and many more! 5. Are your products safe for sensitive skin and hair?

Yes! All Honeyskin products are RESPONSIBLY SOURCED, meaning, we’re clean beauty. Made without potentially harmful chemicals, parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, alcohol, fragrance, SLS and SLES, phthalates, and formaldehyde. 

We only use medical-grade, organic ingredients, making our products ideal for all skin and hair types. The gentle soothing and naturally rich formulations make them suitable for all the family, especially for those with sensitive and dry skin.

 

6. Are your products pH-balanced?

Yes! All Honeyskin products are pH-balanced. As a matter of fact, most of them are perfectly balanced between 4.7 and 5.5 pH to match your natural skin's pH and restore it back to its ideal state while providing lots of organic nutrients.

8. Where are your products made?

Every product we produce is thoughtfully and expertly formulated and manufactured in the United States of America from globally sourced natural and organic ingredients, including Manuka Honey. Honeyskin works closely with its Manuka Honey distributor and the Unique Manuka Factor Association to ethically source Manuka Honey from New Zealand.  

 

9. Are Honeyskin products gluten-free?

Yes! All Honeyskin products have been tested to be gluten-free. As with any new product, if you have serious allergies, we always recommend due diligence and guide you to speak with your personal physician with any questions pertaining to your specific allergies or do a patch test first.

 

10. Are your products cruelty-free?

We love our furry friends and NONE of our products are tested on animals. All Honeyskin products are certified cruelty-free. We are proud and happy that none of the formulations are ever been tested on animals at any stage of our product innovation, development, or manufacturing processes. Honeyskin does not support, source, or conduct animal testing of any kind, nor have we allowed others to perform animal testing on our behalf.

 

11. Are your products preservative-free?

Preservatives are required for safety and performance in any cosmetic product that contains water or aloe in order to prevent the product from becoming adulterated.

Every ingredient is examined by Honeyskin for safety. We look for information on significant health endpoints like skin irritability, cell damage, reproductive toxicity, and cancer. Preservatives are among the hardest ingredient categories to screen. They may also be toxic to other life forms in some concentrations because they are intended to kill bacteria, mold, and/or yeast.

We carefully chose options that were effective in very trace levels or small concentrations. We employ the lowest percentage of preservatives necessary to complete and get the job done, and we’re on a continuous quest to find even better, safer preservative options (including natural preservatives).

 

12. What preservatives do you use?

Here is the list of some of the preservatives and preservative boosters that we are currently using in some of our products: Ethylhexylglycerin, gluconolactone, phenoxyethanol, salicylic acid, and sodium benzoate. We only use a very trace amount of these preservatives, depending on the ingredient and product.

 

13. Is it safe to use your products while I’m pregnant or nursing?

We know that navigating self-care safety while pregnant or breastfeeding is challenging and though our mission is to create safe, gentle, and healthy products, as with any skincare or supplement, follow your doctor's guidance.

 

14. Are Honeyskin products also good for men?

Gender neutrality has been carefully considered in the design of every Honeyskin product. All of our products have highly advantageous ingredients created to be equally effective for everyone, regardless of your sex, gender, or gender expression.
